This Privacy Policy explains how ClipExo (“we”, “our”, “us”) handles information when you use the ClipExo mobile application (the “App”).

Important: ClipExo is designed to be Play Store friendly. The App does not read your clipboard in the background. Clipboard content is accessed only when you explicitly tap Import from Clipboard.

1) Information we collect

ClipExo is built to collect the minimum necessary data.

  • Clipboard text (only when you choose to import): When you tap Import from Clipboard, the App reads the current clipboard text and saves it as a clip in your history.
  • Clipboard history (stored locally): Clips you save (including text, created time, and pin status) are stored on your device.
  • No account required: We do not require sign-up, phone number, or email to use ClipExo.

2) How we use information

We use the information only to provide the core functionality of the App:

  • Save your imported clipboard text into a local history list
  • Allow you to search, pin, copy, or delete saved clips
  • Improve usability and fix bugs (if you contact us with details)

3) Clipboard history storage

Your saved clips are stored locally on your device (for example using on-device storage). By default, we do not upload your clips to any server.

  • Data location: On-device only
  • Backup: Your device/OS may include the App data in system backups depending on your settings
  • Delete: You can delete individual clips or use Clear All to remove everything

4) Sharing & third parties

ClipExo does not sell your data.

  • No third-party sharing: We do not share your clipboard history with third parties.
  • No analytics by default: This basic policy assumes you are not using analytics/ads SDKs.

If you later add ads or analytics (e.g., AdMob, Firebase Analytics), update this policy to mention what is collected and why.

5) Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no method of storage is 100% secure. ClipExo stores your clips on-device, and security also depends on your device protection (screen lock, OS updates).

6) Your choices & rights

  • Control what is saved: Clips are saved only when you manually import them.
  • Delete anytime: Delete individual clips or clear all history from inside the App.
  • Uninstall: Uninstalling the App removes locally stored App data (subject to device backup settings).

7) Children’s privacy

ClipExo is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top when changes are made.
